Swipe to the right to enter OS X, and swipe to the left to enter Windows 10. Once in full-screen mode, you can go back to OS X, where VMware Fusion will allow you to use gestures like the 3-finger swipe, which will allow you to easily navigate into and out of each OS.
You can resize the screen using the mouse pointer, or you can click the Maximize button to go into full-screen mode. The first thing you might want to do is to resize the virtual machine window so that you can see more on the screen. With VMware Fusion, you can enjoy all of the Windows applications without using the Windows 10 interface at all. It marks a drastic deviation from Microsoft Windows versions of old, especially the tremendously unpopular Windows 8. Mac users are more enthusiastic about Windows 10 than any other version of Windows so far. There are a few ways to do this: you can use VMware Fusion 8 to run both Windows 10 and OS X together, or to hide Windows 10 but continue to use all of its applications. But today’s machines are made to be more compatible, and with tools like VMware, you can take advantage of both operating systems on a single machine. Not too many years ago, there was positively nothing compatible about Windows and Mac. Using VMware Fusion 8 (in fact, version 7 also offers many of these capabilities, as well), Mac users can use and enjoy all of the Windows 10 applications, without having to migrate to Windows/Microsoft machines and operating system.

That is a lengthy process as it would mean I would need to install many of the applications too.The Windows 10 operating system marks a drastic change from all previous operating systems.
The only solution I did not try was creating a new Windows 10 VM from scratch. I tried uninstalling Fusion and reinstalling and then opening the VM again.
Now I am restricted to full screen in one monitor and I cannot copy & paste across the host and guest.

I cant recall which update ( Fusion or Mac OS ) broke this. In full screen mode I could use 2 external monitors and the retina display for windows. What is frustrating is my initial setup with Windows 10 and Fusion used to work well. I hope there is some magic resolution ( other than creating a windows 10 machine from scratch !)

Please refer to VMware KB article 2129825 to learn how to obtain and install VMware Tools in this version of Windows. Property(S): ERR_UNSUPPORTED_OS_64 = This program requires Windows Vista or later 64-bit operating system. Property(S): ERR_UNSUPPORTED_OS_32 = This program requires Windows Vista or later 32-bit operating system. The only suspicious item in the VMWare tools installation log are the following entries ( though no error is reported by the vmware tools installation UI : I cannot copy paste across the guest and host either. The installation succeeds but the problem does not go away. I have done this a number of times ( most recent being yesterday after a new update of VMWare Fusion was available. I have tried uninstalling the VMWare tools completely and reinstalling again.
